The SOC Summer 2022 Internship Cohort has been selected. We interviewed some incredible folks and set a new record of internship applications, exceeding 500 applicants!
Congratulations to the following folks that are part of the Summer 2022 Internship Cohort:
Armando is a tri-lingual (English, Spanish, and Korean) professor at Kyunghee University in S. Korea, with a B.A. in English Literature (Minors: Spanish, Anthropology) from SMU. Armando is embarking on a career pivot into cybersecurity and attended the UIC Fullstack Academy Cybersecurity Bootcamp
Henry is a B.B.A. of Business Analytics graduate of Texas A&M Commerce and is currently an M.S. of Cybersecurity at University of Dallas. In his free time, Henry studies SecOps, works on his home lab environment, and does day trading.
Rylan is a graduate of Louisiana Tech's B.S. of Cyber Engineering, is CEH certified, has held a Tier 1 technician role post-graduation and is looking to pivot into Cybersecurity. Rylan was also a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity at Louisiana Tech.
Christopher Laibach is a recent B.S. of Cybersecurity (Minors: Computer Science, Information Technology, and Information Systems) from Marist College where he is currently enrolled in his MBA. He is also a competing member of the Marist College Rowing Team, and recently won "Best Paper", titled "A Framework for Open Source Intelligence Penetration Testing of Virtual Health Care Systems", in the Security category at the IEEE CCWC 2022 conference.
